     Nice Item - Sep 02, 2010

This item is what they said it was. Works well with my nuvi 1300. Came in good time and just what I ordered.

     OEM - Aug 16, 2010

This cable has the same order number as the actual cable sold by Garmin and costs much less. It does not have the black cylinder like the Garmin has.

To the Seller - Please list all compatible Garmin devices - Jul 30, 2010

Where is the list of compatible Garmin devices?

Check your owner's manual or Garmin manufacturer's web site to make sure this is the correct product number for your device. My Garmin Nuvi360 came with a USB data/charger cable, but my mother also has the same model Garmin and she lost the cable that came with hers. I'm trying to order a replacement cable for the one she lost.

I went to Garmin's web site to look up the product number for the cable for the Garmin Nuvi360. The item number Garmin listed is 010-10477-03. But this product listed here says "Item model number: 010-10723-01". Granted, it's cheaper than the one sold directly by Garmin (about $15 directly from Garmin). But without being sure about compatibility I might just be wasting my money on this one anyway. Since the seller doesn't list the compatible Garmin devices, I don't think I'll risk purchasing this. Also, since there isn't a complete picture here, I can't tell if if looks like the one I have (there should be a small cylinder half-way down at the middle of the cable).

Some people have written bad reviews saying that this doesn't work as a data cable, but maybe it's a device compatibility issue. This makes me hesitant to order this one. Incidentally, I don't know why people are saying they didn't get one of these cables with their Garmin. It should have come included when you bought it, along with a car charger and suction-cup window mount. If it didn't come with this cable, you should contact Garmin - this definitely should have come included.

     A USB Cable that Delivers - Jul 28, 2010

I needed a USB cable to update my Garmin unit, so I decided to purchase this item after reading the positive Amazon reviews. The cable was delivered quickly and it works perfectly fine.

Works but not the same as original - Jun 30, 2010

The original cable received with Garmin GPS product has a filter between the two ends. The cable delivered doesn't so the cable received is a generic cable rather than the cable supplied with the Garmin product. It works and so far, the lack of the filter has not damaged the Garmin device but I am still nervous when I use it.

     Garmin USB cable - Jun 20, 2010

With something like this, if it works, it works. This works, and the price was next to nothing. Good deal.

Did not fit my Garmin Nuvi - Jun 16, 2010

Advertised for a Garmin, However, it did not fit mine. Wasn't worth the trouble to return due to shipping and restocking fee. Seller should be more specific.

     Map Update - Jun 11, 2010

Bought this for my new Nuvi 255w in order to connect to the computer. No opportunity for an extended review here, does exactly what it is supposed to do and for a good price. Thanks!

Worked just fine! Good price! - Jun 09, 2010

I bought this for the simple task of charging my Garmin at home, and this fit the bill perfectly. Good price. Fast shipping. No complaints.

     Just what I needed - Jun 03, 2010

I lost my cable and was screwed but ordered this one and it works great; despite the cheap price.

     Quick connection! - May 27, 2010

This made the decision for me not to order my new Terrain with a built-in navigation system (extra bucks). Now I can just keep what I have, up-date and use in my motorhome or whatever I'm driving.

     GPS Cable - May 24, 2010

Very happy with product and service.
Would definitely purchase from this vendor again.
    Highly recommend this vendor.

Cable works great with my nuvi! - May 17, 2010

I recently bought a Garmin nĂ¼vi 205 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator here on Amazon and wanted to register it, so I had to pick up this cable. If you have a Garmin and you don't have this cable, GET IT!

This cable will allow you to register your Garmin online, which should be done for warranty purposes anyway, plus you can download other vehicles, voices, and maps, including those of foreign countries.

Also, I can charge my Garmin via my laptop instead of in the car all the time. It allows me to run my Garmin on battery power more and plug in another devices, such as my MP3 FM transmitter or power inverter. Then, when I get home or back to the hotel room, I can just plug my Garmin into my computer and let it charge up for the next day.

These cables are inexpensive to get (I think I paid less than $7.00 total here on Amazon whereas other stores had them for $20.00-$40.00 or you could only get them in an accessory kit, which I didn't want or need), so if you are getting a Garmin, add this cable on to your order. You will not regret it, especially if you travel a lot.

     Not as advertised - May 13, 2010

This item is titled Garmin USB Cable by Garmin. This is a lie. The USB cable is a generic mini-cable that does not fit into the back of my Garmin Nuvi 255W. Do not buy from this seller.

     Does everything it's supposed to. - May 02, 2010

This cable does everything it is supposed to do. Necessary for getting software and map updates from Garmin.

What is there to say - Apr 23, 2010

It's a cable and it works. My bitch is that it should have been in the box when I bought the GPS. Maybe it was my own oversight, but if I had known I was'nt getting one with my GPS I would have ordered it at the same time and saved the $4.00 in shipping charges. which is twice what the cable costs.

     Garmin USB Cable - Apr 13, 2010

Cable arrived as advertised. Arrived very quickly. Will definitely do business with this company again.

     Exactly what I needed - Mar 30, 2010

I just wanted to be able to plug my Garmin into my computer rather than only using the car charger. This does just that

     Very useful Cable - Mar 30, 2010

I like this cable it lets me charge my GPS from my home computer. I put in addresses from home so I need to keep the battery charged.

     Good Price - Mar 12, 2010

What can I say about a cable, well it works. Great price from seller, and average shipping time. I bought this for my Garmin GPS.

     Garmin USB Cable - Mar 09, 2010

Item was sent on time. Item was in good shape when I received it.

     Just as described - Feb 17, 2010

The cable seems to work just fine. I am happy with it. My Garmin charges fine.

     robb - Feb 12, 2010

everything was straightforward from placing the order tostatusing delivery.......product arrived on time and worked!!..... rare in todays world

     Amazon Verified Purchase - Feb 08, 2010

Used it right away. Was finally able to give my GPS a full charge instead of only the charge it receives during actual use in my vehicle. Very pleased.

     No choke - Feb 07, 2010

I bought a cable from a marketplace vendor because of better price. Although the "official" item is Garmin branded, the one provided clearly is not. Looks well made and it works, but it does not have a choke. Fits my GPS case better without the choke. No choke might be a consideration if the cable will be used where there is significant electromagnetic interference (EMI).
