     360 Controller - Aug 24, 2010

As expected microsoft delivers a great controller no complaints great job amazon on packaging and fast shipping in addition to a great price.

Good but Hindered for PC - Aug 21, 2010

What I love about this product:
It works for PC and Xbox 360 (since I have both)
A lot of PC games now-a-days support it
It's Wireless and works from a good distance
    To me it's comfortable
Easily allows 4 players to play on PC together

    What I don't like:
The triggers don't work correctly so they can be an issue mapping (XBOX DEV Morons mapped the triggers on a shared axis- not sure why?)
Battery life is good but batteries are expensive
Needs the wireless adapter to work with PC (you could just buy the one with the adapter at the marked up price at Bestbuy then return just the controller, get your cash back and then buy the controller here :) But that is illegal, SO DON'T DO IT! LOL.

Had no issues syncing this with the wireless adapter or 360- I say get it but realize that the triggers are screwed up!

     Damaged Goods - Aug 18, 2010

I know that XBox controllers work. I've played on many of them that were fine. The one I bought, however, was literally falling apart. I've since fixed most of the problems, but now, there is no rubber gripping on my thumbsticks, because the day I got it, most of the rubber was already peeled off and in the bag it came in, leaving my thumbs raw from the rough edges.

     saved money - Aug 18, 2010

bought it on amazon and saved a good amount of money. if you need these controllers i highly recommend you buy them from here and save some cash.

     Excellent - Aug 16, 2010

I got an new controller because my old one was like 3 years old and the joy sticks were sticking pretty badly. It works just like any other microsoft controller. I only wish I would have known something was rattling inside the controller before I received it.

Biggest piece of junk ever... - Aug 15, 2010

Don't waste your time or money on one of these piles. Microsoft really just blew it on these wireless controllers. Within the first month, it only shut off once in a while, which I could handle. Then, it starting to shut off a lot more frequently, which started getting really annoying. And then every 10 minutes. Then every 5 minutes. And now, at the 5-6 month mark, they LITERALLY, in all seriousness, shut off every 2 minutes. And typically it's not just one time, they'll shut off 3 or more times in a row, then work for 2 minutes, then shut off, shut off again, and even shut off in the middle of turning on. And I'm not an idiot, I've put BRAND-SPANKING NEW batteries in them NUMEROUS times, and they just shut off and shut off and shut off again. And I'm not even a foot away from the Xbox, so it's not like they're losing signal. It's to the point that I can't even play Xbox anymore. Call of Duty is dreadful (you're stuck motionless and therefore dead immediately if it shuts off), and Madden is almost worse (drops back to pass---**Please Reconnect Controller**--and sacked). It's just ridiculous. DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!!!

     Best controller for a console - Aug 09, 2010

Each system has their respective controllers and the Xbox 360 controller is probably the best of the bunch. Works fine, is responsive and fits in your hands nicely. I prefer this controller to the PS3's Dual Shock because of its more weighty feel. the PS3 controller definitely feels a bit flimsy in comparison to this. There's really not much more to say than that and this isn't a review to claim console superiority. If you have an Xbox 360, you already know what you're getting with this.

     own 4,1 works - Aug 08, 2010

I like the controller layout itself with exception of the dpad, the buttons have to pounded pretty hard compared to other controllers, besides those small complaints the controller layout is really good.
The main problem is that ive owned 4 and of those 4 only 1 actually works without being plugged in.1 of them died within a month of being owned and was hardly used in that time.Ontop of that none of my 360 controllers hold a charge for more then 3 hours(after being fully charged),and turn themselves off randomly. So until Microsoft fixes those issues its a one star

     Xbox 360 Wireless Controller - Aug 07, 2010

The Overall of the controller was ok. It was very dusty and one bottons upper left it doest work now i will need to send to repair.

     Excellent Controller - Aug 05, 2010

I use this controller for both my XBOX 360 and desktop PC. It's connected to the PC via the Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. Neither the PC or XBOX have lag issues when using this controller. It is comfortable and affordable - what more could you want?

     XBOX 360 Controller - Aug 01, 2010

The controller is in Great shape, better than expected.
The controller was delivered way befor the date.
    Thanks so much.

Great Controller, Even Better Price! - Jul 29, 2010

Controller came exactly as described. The price is outstanding!! Might want to check into the rechargeable battery packs because these controllers tend to "eat up" the 2 AA batteries required.

     Best Xbox 360, Windows controller I've used - Jul 27, 2010

The official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller is simply the best controller for the Xbox that I've used. I've tried the 3rd-party controllers, from Mad Catz and others, and they just don't feel as good, and aren't as responsive.

This controller is also the best gamepad for use with a computer, provided you have the wireless usb receiver that comes with the "for Windows" version of the controller. As more and more games natively support the Xbox controller, and natively show the buttons for abilities, just like you'd see on the Xbox 360, the Xbox has replaced my other gamepads. It's just easier to use, and feels like it was made for the system. I bought 2 standard wireless controllers, and 2 "for Windows" wireless controllers, so now I have a dongle for each computer, and 4 controllers that can be quickly synched to either computer or the Xbox.

Comfort wise, I didn't like the Xbox controller at first, having been used to Sony's PS2 controller. Now that I have both Xbox and PS3 controllers, and use both regularly, I find the Xbox controller to be much more ergonomic, more comfortable to hold, and more comfortable to use. The controller lets you naturally wrap your hands around it, and the triggers are a pleasure to squeeze, where as the PS3 controller now feels un-natural, and the triggers are a little annoying.

Performance wise, this wireless controller uses the 2.4GHz wireless range, the same as most cordless headsets, 802.11b/g wireless networks, and even the same as some microwaves. I haven't had any problems with at my house, but 2 of my friends have constant problems with controllers disconnecting mid-play. Sometimes it's just an annoyance, but sometimes it happens so often that it's unbearable. The PS3 controller's bluetooth connection avoids these problems, and is much faster to start up and connect.

One can only hope that Sony adopts Microsoft's ergonomic styling for the Dualshock 4 controllers, and Microsoft adopts Sony's bluetooth connection for the Xbox 720 controllers.

Great controller but battery could be better. - Jul 27, 2010

Hey all this is Sam AKA Para in the gaming review community. This is one of many gaming reviews I will be starting for Amazon, so I hope you enjoy. Going to be talking about the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Red Wireless Controller and Play & Charge Kit which I have to say feels well. It is sort of light but durable. After playing for long hours I notice no pain in my hands, just the way the designed this controller it just fits right in your hands and is not stressing out you muscles or having you to curve your hands around it just to hold it. The vibration feedback is very well and is not super strong that it feels like a back massager or making your hands go numb, but it is not also so weak that you cannot even feel it. It gives just the right amount. The triggers are in just the right position and have the perfect lift to them for easy access. The joy sticks are perfectly assessable and once again do not strain your hands trying to use them. Battery life is not the best though, it could use a slight improvement but that is minor. I suggest if you don't need the vibration to turn it off and save battery. Overall the controller is very nice and easy to use. Good work Microsoft for changing the hamburger shaped Xbox controller to this much easier to handle one. Hope this review helps and look forward for my other game reviews.

     Great controller - Jul 23, 2010

This controller works excellently and feels better in the hands than the one that comes with the XBOX.

     controller - Jul 22, 2010

the only way to play is wireless with the price of this supossed used product why buy the wired ones this came to me with speedy shipment and was in new condition even had original pakaging with everything included couldnt be more pleased

     Great controller - Jul 20, 2010

The controller is great and if you have used any of the Xbox controllers, this will be no different than the rest. I recommend a rechargeable battery pack so to avoid burning through batteries. It is responsive and will allow for many great hours of playing.
Though this is probably the best designed controller of this generation of consoles (I have at one point had all three systems), the only gripe I have with it is the sometimes fidgety D-Pad. It is not as accurate as it should be but fortunately I do not use it all that often.

     keeps turning off - Jul 15, 2010

I just got an Xbox 360 and it is great. The controller that came with it works perfectly. I bought another controller to play with my friends and the controller turned off after 10 minutes. I turned it back on and the controller turned off after another 10 minutes and it kept doing that. I thought maybe the batteries that came with the controller were messed up so I changed them. Even after that it kept turning off every ten minutes.

     Awome - Jul 12, 2010

This contoller was great it was like i bought it in a store but at a way lower price and got the same exact quality as if it came with my XBOX 360

     Perfect controller - Jul 08, 2010

I don't have a negative thing to say about this controller. It works perfectly, runs for a long time on alkaline or rechargeable batteries, and the buttons respond beautifully. I was also lucky to catch it at $25 one day on Amazon. What an amazing deal!

Does NOT work on the PC - Jul 07, 2010

First of all these are great controllers and the wired version works great on my PC.

It is my own fault for not researching it more carefully but it says very clearly on Microsoft's website that this controller works on both the Xbox and the PC and says nothing about needing an additional PC USB adapter for $30.

     Xbox 360 Black Controller - Jun 26, 2010

This is controller works like a charm. You save money and time by getting it from amazon too. All in all buy this.

Best controller released to date - Jun 25, 2010

I'll start this review by stating I'm an avid video game player. I've been playing since the Atari 2600 and Celeco. While Nintendo has always been innovators for video games Microsoft has made my favorite controller so far. The controller is reasonably priced, one of Microsoft's only reliable products, has a removable battery, and is really comfortable. The only real downside is that it has no motion sensing but right now there's no software to support it.

Good for lounging out in bed and playing - Jun 18, 2010

The only time I ever use this controller is when I want to sit in a chair or lay in the bed far away from the TV to play. So in that regard it's useful. However this things goes through batteries like exlax goes through my great Grandmother. If you don't have a Charger I suggest investing in one because you'll be putting more money in batteries than you will in video games. If you don't want to buy a charger at least get some decent batteries. So buy you a pack of Duracell (they have lasted 3 weeks already which is a record for my controller). Otherwise I definitely reccomend getting a Wired Xbox 360 Controller if you can, it will save you all the extra hassle. On a side note the Xbox 360 controller is the best ever created. It's a little more convenient to play with than the Playstation one. Pretty soon you'll forget you even have a controller in your hand while playing some games. Though at first it's hard to remember the lettering and colors like myself if your are use to the Playstation controller.

     Great! - Jun 15, 2010

I am thoroughly satisfied with this controller! It was worth the price, on account most controllers cost quite a bit. I got it within three days, which was awesome, considering I thought it'd take a week or so to get it. The only thing that made me question the seller was the way the controller was packaged. The controller itself was wrapped in plastic wrap, and then in paper. But, it was used, and it works great! Creative way of shipping a product without the box! I would definitely recommend buying anything from this seller!
